About Spot The Dog Grooming
Spot the Dog Grooming was established in 2008, after my life long love of animals could no longer be suppressed. It has been the best decision I have made. I feel very lucky that I am able to make my living working with animals, my soft spot being dogs.
In 2011 it was necessary to find bigger premises and Spot the dog grooming is now located at the Gainsborough shopping centre, Kiama Downs with an up to the minute salon.
The welfare of the dog is paramount to us and this is what will dictate the type of groom/service the dog receives.
We choose to style the dogs coat as long as possible, and can usually remove recent knots but if any part of the coat is matted this will dictate what length the overall groom will be. Exceptionally matted areas will require a very short all over clip for the comfort and safety of the dog.
We pride ourselves on keeping up to date with current grooming trends and techniques, and are able to cater to all breeds.
